Mould Fluxes
Mould fluxes are materials that are used in the steelmaking process to protect the liquid steel from oxidation and to facilitate the casting process. They are typically made from a mixture of materials such as silica, alumina, calcium oxide, and magnesium oxide, and they are applied to the surface of the liquid steel before it is poured into the casting mold.
